Proximity uses the same data as MS Connect to map professional connections, showing who’s nearby so you can quickly identify and engage clients and companies within the firm’s network, especially when traveling.
The project brief was to create a desktop map view of connections, starting as a standalone site to eventually evolve into a unified platform under Connect.
First, users search by city, then refine results by entering a specific company or client name. Map markers show the number of results at each location. Users can select results either from the left-hand menu or directly on the map.

Under the client’s name, the top three employee contacts are displayed with direct access to email, call, or chat. A link opens the company page in Connect, to view more connections and information about the company, and there’s an option to provide directions.
From the company page in Connect, a direct link to the corresponding Proximity page also creates a seamless connection between the two.
